Counselling Issues

What is counselling?

Counselling is a chance to be really listened to and not judged. You choose what to talk about and our counsellor or psychotherapist will gently intervene from time to time to clarify or explore your situation.

Counselling is not like everyday conversation, but rather a focused exploration of particular concerns you may have in a confidential setting, conducted according to clear ethical guidelines. The subject presented at session may include anything that you are worried about.

Counselling encourages you to be strong. It also empowers you to take your own views and feelings seriously until you feel strong and able to do so without the help of a counsellor or therapist.

Who is 'counselling' for?
Anyone who is experiencing difficulties in their lives should contact Central Counselling Services immediately to talk freely to a counsellor or therapist who is willing, able and experienced to listen to you, in a safe and non threatening environment. You will find that our practitioners are friendly, experienced and non-judgmental.
